This striking Toki is carved from pounamu sourced from the Waimea River in Tasman, Aotearoa New Zealand.

The front showcases the stone’s natural rind, or outer skin, revealing beautiful pattern, depth and character. Turned over, the lighter green Inanga is revealed — a rare and highly prized variety of pounamu.

Traditionally lashed from the back, this Toki allows the full beauty of the stone’s front to remain visible.
